- Detailed description of academic and or work place achievements
Individual learning needs analysis.
Methods:
- Checking that the four document sets are in place.
- Reviewing the individual learning needs analysis, to ascertain accuracy and completeness of their use.
- Questioning the candidate.
- Professional discussion with appropriate role players.

The roles entail the following responsibilities
Advisor:
Review and complete documentation of the sponsor, interview the candidate and complete the individual learning plan / agreement.
Counsellor:
Profile the candidate for economic, social and spiritual viability.
Senior advisor:
Monitor documentation for accuracy, currency and relevance.
Mentor:
Identify and support shortfalls and weaknesses within the candidates learning and attainment cycles.
Tutor:
Inform the candidate in a learned, relevant and structured way through compliance with curriculum models and maintenance of accurate achievement records.
